1st Line Support – Leeds Based - £17000 - £22,000 dependant on experience – 3 Months’ contract

We have a great opportunity for a 1st Line Support Analyst to join our client based in Leeds. Our client is a leading provider of IT Solutions & Services and requires a 1st Line Support Analyst to join their Technical Service Centre.

Working as the 1st Line Support Analyst you will provide first line customer technical support to the Service Centre customer base. Other accountabilities include;

  • Engage with customers by phone or digital channels to address incidents and service requests and process them in line with current service levels and current policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, changes made, customer interactions in line with data protection laws and policies.
  • Adhere to current Service Centre Service Management policies, processes and procedures (e.g. ticket handling policy, incident management, request fulfilment and problem management).
  • Maintain and develop your customer skills, technical skills and knowledge of current process and procedures.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills;

  • Experience of working within a direct customer facing environment
  • Microsoft Suite Server and Client
  • Network Fault Finding
  • Encryption Software – PGP & Checkpoint – Installation & Administration
  • Anti-Virus (Symantec) – Installation & Administration
  • Call management systems
  • RSA SecureID
  • FTP Administration
  • Active Directory
  • Basic Network server technologies (DHCP, DNS)
  • Backup Technologies – Veaam, DPM, Commvault etc
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008
