We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join our client based in Woking. Our client is a leading Software provider and they are keen to appoint a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join their Support team.

Job Title: 2nd Line Support Analyst

Location: Woking

Working as the 2nd Line Support Analyst you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Providing technical support to customers and colleagues
  • Key focus on ensuring all incidents & service requests are dealt with in a professional manner within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Utilise knowledge and experience of operating systems and SQL databases to investigate and resolve reported faults.
  • Aid in upskilling the knowledge of the Support Team
  • To produce concise issue resolution and user documentation as required for handover to colleagues and customers.
  • Develop knowledge and skill sets to confidently support all products and solutions
  • Develop customer relationships and attend customer sites if required.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of:

  • Working in a Technical Support position
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 (and previous) based systems including DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, DFS
  • Active Directory with multiple forests and forests with multiple domains
  • Microsoft Application Servers (i.e. Exchange, Lync/SFB , SharePoint, SQL Server)
  • Microsoft Azure experience would be advantageous.

Applicants will have excellent communication skills and will have the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.  It is essential that you are a self-starter and you are driven to learn.
