We currently have a great opportunity to join our client in North London as an Account Manager. Our client is a leading provider of software & services and they are keen to appoint an Account Manager to manage their local authority customers.

 

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Enfield, North London

Salary: up to £30,000 + benefits

 

Woking as the Account Manager you will work collaboratively with other teams to deliver successful campaigns and increase client base and you will maintain and develop relationships with existing clients. Duties will include;

  • To focus on the Local Authority and Community sector (LA & C), maintaining, developing & building relationships with clients. To undertake research of that sector and to build upon it.
  • Responsibility for managing sales campaigns for each project and retaining the current client base for the LA & C sector.
  • Account management of existing accounts, establishing and maintaining productive, professional relationships.
  • To generate and calculate quotes (using supplied pricing schedules) and to evaluate and apply relevant discounts/pricing suggestions within the Local Authority Sector.
  • Ensuring upkeep of CRM records for the LA & C sector.
  • Monitor ERS’ enquiries inbox and respond to new LA & C enquires.
  • Assist the Bid Writer with the responses to tenders: ITT, PQQs and RFQs.
  • Overseeing and managing client relationships and projects throughout the life of a contract to maximise potential income.
  • Responsible for maintaining a contracts register and ensuring compliance with contract terms, reporting requirements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • To keep up to date with all legislative/industry requirements and developments affecting this sector.
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints.
  • Management of Quality Assurance schedule for major elections.
  • Manage the on-site Quality Assurance checking process for election stationery including; timetabling appointments, organising stock movement and client visit management.
  • Plan, organise and represent the company at conferences and exhibitions in order to promote products and services.
  • Networking with various industry specialists to ensure that the company is as informed as possible on developments within the sector.

 

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a customer focussed environment and will have excellent communication skills both written and verbally. It is essential that you are strong at building relationships and you have strong organisational skills.
